Fichtner Municipal Pool - Morrellville

Nice look from up top of the old Fichtner Swimming Pool that used to be right behind Garfield Junior High.

I recently came across this and want to let you know that I am from the Fichtner side of the family (my grandmother): Rose May (Henry)married: Dr. Albon Ellsworth Fichtner (my grandfather). I also have a close up photo of the pool given to me from family photos. I would like to post it, but don't know how. I recently started working on my family ancestors-what fun!

All you have to do is send anything you want me to post to cacicia@hotmail.com.
I will give you credit for the unless you would rather not have your name mentioned. It's up to you.

I don't know if you will see this, but do you happen to have any photos of Dr. Fichtner's office in the West End? It was located on Chandler Avenue (formerly F street). I remember the building fondly and would love to see photos of it from when it was his practice!
