I never knew Diamond Drug was Downtown. When I was a kid my mom always took me into the store in Moxham.I vaguely remember that Duquesne billboard atop Main St.
Awesome photo! A real slice of what life was like back in the 50s in Johnstown.
Wish we could go back there. I would love to walk downtown and see all the hustle and bustle. I think we would appreciate it all the more!
Agree with Brian--I always wished I could have just one day to see the downtown that my parents talk about.
