To Remember Our Native Son - William David Moskal - Lost in the World Trade Center - Lived in the West End section of Johnstown.
Some of the crowd gathering - by the end a very nice crowd of a couple of hundred people came out.
D Street from Fairfield Avenue to Barron Avenue was blocked off - here is a National Guard truck.
along with Lower Yoder Volunteer Fire Department.
Boy Scout Troop 182 - the young man on the right is holding the flag before the ceremony.
Handing out balloons for the release at the end.
The woman in the purple jacket on the far left is Mrs. Eleanor Moskal - William's mother.

The gentleman walking beside the vehicle is Mr. George Higgins - who was a good friend of William Moskal - and he spoke about Mr. Moskal and his love for family and country.
Adia Dobbins singing the Spiritual - Steal Away

The Plaque presentation with Mrs. Eleanor Moskal.
Retired Col. Douglas Lengenfelder - Survivor of the Pentagon Attack.
Bill Venet - (Johnny Cash) - Song of the Patriot - Bill was so emotional - that at times he couldn't get through the words - so the crowd as one - started clapping in unison - it was one of those special, unscripted moments. I would have recorded a clip of his audio - but he didn't use a mic and the sound quality was too low.
The Raising of the Flag.
