Train Time
I think this was taken somewhere around the Horseshoe Curve area.

The locomotive is a Pennsylvania Railroad T-1 class, but it is not taken on Horseshoe Curve, as the railroad is only single-track in the pix. At Horseshoe, would have been four tracks.
I disagree with Mr. Scholes. This is indeed the horseshoe curve. The train is traveling downgrade, eastbound on track#1 and the slight angle of the roadbed hides the other three tracks.
