Lee Hospital - Update

Another one of those pictures where you don't know where to look first. Starting on the lower right - the old Esso Gas Station (Glosser Library is there now), Fort Stanwix Hotel and the State Theatre. Directly behind the gas pumps in the old YMCA building and so much more.
Brian - I thought the same thing about the Jets - but a closeup shows it's an ad for Jet Shoes - Penn Traffic Budget Store

That ESSO Gas Station was on the opposite corner of Walnut & Main, across Walnut from the now Glosser Library. You can see the Trackless Trolley (center of Pic)turning left onto Main from Walnut and the stoplight on the pole. The other corner with the PARK sign, that corner lot was the location of the Capitol Hotel, torn down making that parking lot.

Too bad we can't travel back in time. It would be so great to take a look back in person.

I just looked closer at the billboard on the left side of the picture. I think its for the Jets.

I have a pic somewhere that was taken on Walnut behind a turning trolly facing in the Conway Funeral Home direction. It looks almost like there were 2 Victorian Houses on the lot that the Library sits on today. The one on the corner being the Conway Funeral Home.
