Unknown Neighborhood

A reader sent in this shot - all he knows is that it was taken somewhere in Johnstown - even I can't figure out where this is.

The 3rd house up on the left looks really familiar. I'm thinking Moxham coming down Jacobs St.

Think it might be intersection of Strayer and Fairfield Ave. If you turned right from Strayer onto Fairfield.

Reminds me of Southmont.

Reminds me a little of Franklin Street--Summit Ave. going down to the right. I don't think this is it, but that was my first impression. Not sure why, but it just reminds me of upper Ferndale.

Definitely looks like Franklin Street At the Goucher Street intersection. The photo looks toward Hystone Street from the Goucher/Franklin intersection. And yes, that is Summit Ave. to the bottom right.

This is the curve where Gilbert Street turns onto Crystal Street in Brownstown heading up to Westmont. I know people who live in the house with the diamond window and double checked if I am correct. Yep...it's their house. This was taken at least before 1985 or so as they made improvements then that aren't on this photo.

I know this isn't Franklin St./Summit Ave. I travel that everyday and it can't be.

Definitely Brownstown. I lived in the first house shown on the right. It's Habicht St. turning onto Chrysal St heading to Westmont.
