Christmas Tree Time

Spent the afternoon at Fleming's Tree Farm out Indiana way - picking the perfect tree for the deck.
RJ heading back to where the big White Pines are.
---------------------------------------------------
RJ tagging the tree he picked out.
Now you can cut them down yourself - but it's just as easy to have them do it for you.
TIMBER!
-------------------------------------------
RJ helping the worker drag our tree to the road. I have to say - they have some great employees - always around to help and answer all your questions. The guy even tipped RJ a buck for helping him out. RJ thought that was just the coolest thing!
The tractor picks up and takes it down to the parking lot.
While waiting for the tree - we headed to the gift shop area.
They even have a line of potted trees.
Along with the already picked variety.

-------------------------------------------
Can't miss a stop to visit Santa. RJ stills believes in him - but is at the age that it can go either way now - especially once the kids start talking about him in school.
They have a great Santa!
----------------------------------------
-------------------------------------
----------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------
You can also hitch a ride around the tree farm if you don't want to take your car.
Now back to our tree - they shake it out first.
And this machine wraps the tree up.

----------------------------
This machine drills a hole on the bottom so it fits better in the holder.
It's off to the car.
They'll even tie it on top of your car for you.
Now back home.
It looks so small on the deck - but it's over 6 foot.
Roger Sr. doing the decorating.
And here it is - all ready for Christmas.
