Women Wrestlers



Another repeat - believe it or not - this single clip is the most popular of my Youtube things - with over 27,000 hits. I still have people that email me - telling me how much they enjoy this old time stuff. Anyway back to the clip - it was shot at the War Memorial.

All I know about this picture is that these are members of the Drama Group from St. Francis Church in Morrellville. If my mother or grandmother were still alive - they would probably know who most of these people are.

Coopersdale Sewage Project

Laying the sanitary sewer line in Coopersdale. For us homeowners in Johnstown - replacing all this crap and I do mean (insert swear word here) - from our homes to the street - is something that I fear will forever change our town.

Got Gas

Another repeat today. They don't build them like this anymore. Amoco-Gas at the end of the Napoleon Street Bridge. Union Cemetery would be directly behind the photographer and Joe Johns is off camera to the left. You can also see the Franklin Street Bridge off in the distance.

Harry took me in to Dr. Kahl and he dressed my toe.
And then we come home. Leona stayed with Ida & dad. 
And then she ate dinner with us and went home. 
Essie Hiteshew was here for supper and then cut Idas hair. Dorse Lambert was here a while.
Note: Leona, Clifford, Billy and Harry are the children of Mrs. Oldham.
Also for you younger readers - dinner means lunch.
