I am so happy that I can now have a copy of those that remind me so much of my youth. Thank you Lisa for doing all this! I left with my family in 1977 after the flood. I was 26 years old then. I lived right downtown on Lincoln Street so these were my stomping grounds as a youth. I want to thank you so very much for sharing all of these photos with us on your site. I have only had an opportunity to return home once since I moved and that was for Thanksgiving in 1989. So much of the wonderful places I remember from my childhood are now gone. I wish I had been able to share some of those places with my two sons who were both born in Johnstown, but were only 3 years and 31/2 months old when we moved. This is just what I was looking for among many others on this site. My biggest disappointment is that I can't copy them to my computer, but thank you for giving me a look back into my youth.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
