This is my grandfathers sister Gene (Lenz) Swank posing in their yard on the lower end of Virginia Avenue - the brick house across the alley from St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Morrellville around 1920.
I used to sled ride down that alley up from the church. Loads of kids did. There was a great hill off Grass Avenue too but I remember the Virginia Avenue alley being used a lot more often for sled riding.
