How did they tell whose car was whose back then?

I never been there, but I heard from many folks they had the best ice cream in town. Where about on Somerset Pike was this place?
It was across from the K & T Bait & Tackle shop. My parents lived in the Alwine house (right next to the bait shop) across 985 from the Dairy/Restaurant I’m the 1970s. I think the house has been closed/deemed unsafe due to foundation damage now.
It was located about 1/2 mile past the old Castle Farm Resturant.
