You can "eat, sleep and be merry at the Lafayette Hotel". I have no idea if this building in Hastings, Cambria County still exists. But it looked like a nice place to stay.
The building is still [2011]in use. It is only two stories, and the false front is gone. At one time the far left was the post office, now it is a restaurant, the Beaver Street Cafe. The far left was at one time the library and most recently a hair salon. The second floor was a beautician and a dentist at one time, but now is residences.
