Cambria City Kids

The only thing I know from sure about this picture is that it was taken in Cambria City and judging from the clothing - mostly likely from around 1900....

    The expression on the faces of those girls is so compelling--you almost can't look away from them.

    This is the poverty my grandparents were born into; 1st generation Americans, bilingual house, hard labor jobs.
