The Downtowner Motor Hotel

The spanking new Downtowner Motor Hotel - Johnstown. All I can say is that it doesn't look like this anymore.

  3. No, it isn't. You're thinking of the Town Manor Motel. This is the Downtowner---it's now The Atrium Care Center.

  5. I would like to contribute some accurate information about the current business that occupies the space that The DownTowner Motel used to. In 1985, this building was converted to a beautiful personal care home. One of the first and finest in the region. The Atrium, A Choice Community is the current and correct name for this nonprofit establishment which serves a significant population of the disabled, elderly and non-elderly persons requiring assistance with their daily living. The community has been beautified and is strikingly welcoming and warm through out its interior. The sky lights which furbish natural light to the main part of the 3rd, 2nd and 1st floor lounge and common areas adds to the beauty and ambiance of this unique and caring home. It will only take one tour to convince someone of the caring nature of the staff that attend to the residents who are fortunate enough to reside here.
