Just added this cool booklet to my collection - The Grand Opening of The New Million Dollar State Theatre in downtown Johnstown. Part of it still survives - inside the building next to the old Lee Hospital - the name escapes me for the moment.

where was this located in downtown and what happend to the building?
ReplyDeleteDowntown had so much. Used to anyway.
ReplyDeleteThe building is still there. it is part of the lee hospital (memorial down town campus)Much of it remains unchanged.
ReplyDeleteJust found this great blogsite.
ReplyDeleteSurprised to find the State Theater souvenir program posted here, since have the same booklet.
Visited it after it became part of the Lee Hospital (auditorium), and it looked amazing still.
Is there any further information on the theater building?
Thank You,
Diana Panagotacos
