  6. I WORKED AT L.A. SURPLUS FOR A SHORT TIME IN THE EARLY '70'S WITH SOME OF MY FAB "HIPPIE" GAL-PALS.

  9. I remember this store well. The smell still sticks in my mind. I also remember the changing booths with the half-doors - rather risque for the time. Also, they knew they were cool so you didn't get really friendly service, at least not if you were a young teen guy. Just try your f*in pants on.
