Originally I thought that this pic was much earlier, but the movie advertisement on the old trolly for "Anne of the Indies," means it was taken in 1951 when the film was made, or shortly thereafter. The distant cars seem to verify that date of 1951.
This appears to be on Main Street in front of the old State Theater. The white building to the right is the original Lee Hospital. Lee Hospital then bought and incorporated the theater as part of it. Currently, it is known as the Lee Campus of the Conemaugh Memorial Health System.
