  2. The beginning of Strayer Street leaving Haws Pike.
The Red Roofed building is a sandwich shop.

The playground on the right used to be an Elementary School building
This is a real tight "S" curve.
Take a right then a sharp left.
My grandmothers house was just past the last curve, across the street from Albert "A.B." Lebarkos Mobile gas station
    (It's now Babo's Motors Inc.)

Koch's is not too far down the road.
Although I live in Ohio I still stop there and pick up a lottery ticket or two when I'm in town and say hello to Bob Koch. He still remembers a few of people in my family and some of the neighbors, most of which have passed.

457 Strayer was Dad's home, and I spent most of my youth traveling back with my parents to see Grandma, my Aunt's, Uncle and cousins.

In the early years (1965-1977) there was a little Borden Dairy store across the street just down for the Mobile Station run by a little old Babba named Eva. Used to be the best place in the world for us kids since she had a great penny candy counter.
