Franklin Street - 1940's

A rare look at the end of Franklin Street going towards the bridge - which is just off camera on the right hand side.

  2. Today this is where the NW Savings Bank bulidng and attached parking are located. It's great to see what used to be where in Johnstown.

  3. The diner was built in Silver Creek, NY by the Ward & Dickinson dining Car Co. I have seen a photo of this diner when it was new on location. Called "Club Diner" when installed, and placed over old cellar, which had a space for a car.
