April 11, 1947: Diary of a Johnstown Housewife

From the diary of Mrs. Elizabeth Oldham of Moxham
Friday, April 11
We cleaned up the house and I mopped the porches and baked bread.
Bill &  Harriett was here a while. He made some garden up at Leones and sewed seeds and planted onions.
Leone was here a while and Nancy come and got a loaf of bread.
We are planning on going out to the camp and get some of my flowers.
Meet Nancy - Leona's daughter and the mother of Win Macintosh - who kindly sent this picture in.
