April 6, 1947: Diary of a Johnstown Housewife

From the diary of Mrs. Elizabeth Oldham of Moxham
Easter Sunday, April 6
A full day for one. Harry & Margaret & Eddie come and took me up to our church for preaching services. Then they brought me back home and we picked up Ida and we went up to Ernest's for a turkey dinner. Evry thing was delicious. And we was there a while or till after 4 o'clock.
The Paul & Pat come for us and took us over to Bessies for a turkey supper. And she had a good supper. We booth injoyed the day. It was a swell day only terrible windy.
