From the diary of Mrs. Elizabeth Oldham of Moxham
Friday, May 16, 1947
I went all over the whole house and scrubbed the both porches and baked bread and put the curtains up. I sure am tired this evening. (Note: Elizabeth is 69 years old).
Harry was here and made some steps for Mrs. Liggett.
Boy am I ever disgusted. I can't get this old tree away now. It has lain here in the yard a week.
