May 17, 1947: Diary of a Johnstown Housewife

From the diary of Mrs. Elizabeth Oldham of Moxham
Saturday, May 17, 1947
I was down at the A & P store this afternoon and at the drug store and Hardware store.
Then come back and went up to Leona's. And got a dozen of eggs and stopped at Fodders store and got some dried meat.
We had some for supper. It was good.
It is cool and cloudy. Harry was married 4 years ago to day to Margaret Liggets.

  1. Fodders Store was owned by my great uncle Harold Fodder. It was located on the corner of Central Ave and Jacob St.
