I took the rug out and Mr. Birch helped me put it on the line. Then I scrubbed the floor and out the rug down again and waxed around the rug. Ida was mending an old rug and she does the getting the meals for us.

Joan & George was here this evening a while. Joan has sore throat. Clark fell down the stairs and broke his wrist.
