May 3, 1947: Diary of a Johnstown Housewife


From the diary of Mrs. Elizabeth Oldham of Moxham
Saturday, May 3, 1947
I walked down to the drug store on Grove ave. and mailed a letter for Ida to Lane Bryant.
She sent for a dress and stopped at Mryrtles to see Mals Baby. 
Harry was here for Breakfast & Supper. He showed us some of the pictures he took out at the camp.
George and Helen and a nother lady as here to see them too. A lady from Pgh. Harry went to work from 12 till 8 to nite. Ida is not feeling so good.
