From the diary of Mrs. Elizabeth Oldham of Moxham
Friday, May 9, 1947
We go up early and cleaned up the house. Then we got a lunch and ate.
Then Clifford come and took Ida and I over to Hites. Sara got a good supper. She had roast beef and gravy and mashed potatoes and lettice and a lot of other good eats. We enjoyed the day a lot. Then Hite brought us over home again.
We got some nice cards from Venda (?) and Thompson.
Clifford went in town this noon to have more ex rays taken.
