Monday - June 30, 1947
I washed this fore noon - then I was in town this afternoon to see Dr. Kahl. He gave me 3 kinds of medicine. I saw Mrs. Bert Oldham at the Drs. office.
She walked in with a cain.
Today is my birthday (69th). I got 11 dollars and a box of candy and a box of soap and a pack age of good gum drops and 1 apron and lovely table cloth and napkins from Lee in Japan. Harry, Eddie & Margaret come over and brought eats. And ate supper with us - Ida & I.

Helen & I was at church. Joan & Nancy come along home with us home. They ate some cookies then went home.
Ida & I got us a good dinner.
Pat and his girl took Bessie Ida & I up to Windber this evening to see Harry Gahayain. He died yesterday morning.

Ida was mending her slip. Rained some and was cool part of the day.
John and Emma was here a while this evening.
And I made a will and John is keeping it till my death.
Ida & Emma was witnesses on the will.
