June 16, 1947: Diary of a Johnstown Housewife

From the diary of Mrs. Elizabeth Oldham of Moxham
Monday - June 16, 1947
I was sewing. I fixed a dress for my self and then fixed one for Ida.
Eddie was here this evening for a sicle, to cut grass up where he works in Westmont.
I got a letter from Emma. She said Betty Jane could come up now, to visit us. John was here with Patty. She is sure cute. It was cloudy and cool all day to day, but warmer this evening.
