From the diary of Mrs. Elizabeth Oldham of Moxham
Tuesday - July 15, 1947
We ironed this fore noon then Clifford and Clark come and took Betty & I out for Huckleberries, but we did not get any worth mentioning. They were all picked over.
So we come home by the way of Shade bridge. Clifford killed a groundhog.
Note: As for 2014 - huckleberries are now getting ripe later in the summer.
