From the diary of Mrs. Elizabeth Oldham of Moxham
Sunday - July 20, 1947
I was at Georges all day. Ellie had a good dinner.
And about all of the children was home. George went fishing with Randoll.
And after dinner we went for (?) berries. I brought some along home for Ida and we picked some and Ida ate some and I made for pies.
Sarvis berry is now better known as Serviceberry, a native tree.
