August 22, 1947: Diary of a Johnstown Housewife

From the diary of Mrs. Elizabeth Oldham of Moxham
Friday - August 22, 1947
Billy & Harriet and Mrs. Fleegle was all out black berries. We ate our lunch at the old camp place.
Then Billy picked all of the sweet apples. That was out there on our tree. My but they are nice.
I only got a few black berries.
I made 2 qts. & 1 pint. Marg is on the rampage. She says she is going home to take care of her folks. She is mad at me. I pity Harry but don't give a hoot for her.
