October 22, 1947: Diary of a Johnstown Housewife


From the diary of Mrs. Elizabeth Oldham of Moxham
Wednesday - October 22, 1947
I ironed then I worked in the yard. I cut a lot of kindling and carried it too the cellar and raked up a lot of leaves and burnt some stuff in the yard.
Leona was here for dinner. Ida made some potato ham pot pie. It was good.
