Reader Steve Dixon sent in this clipping from 1951. Members of his family owned the Tross & Co. Clothing Store and this is their going out of business sale. The store operated from 1931 to 1951 at 346 Main Street. The building later became a Tops Diner before being torn down to make way for the medical center.
