From the diary of Mrs. Elizabeth Oldham of Moxham
Tuesday - November 11, 1947
I ironed the curtains and done a lot more cleaning. John, Alice and baby Patty was here a while.
Joe & John put a floor plug in for me.
Then Billy & Clifford come and Clifford fixed the attic door for Helen.
George painted the kitchen white and their furnature too.
This woman must have one hell of a clean house. All I ever read is what type of cleaning or repairs are done on a daily basis. She was definately a good working lady unlike some of the people today.
