My 3G Grandfather, James Henry Benford, owned the Hulbert House Hotel in Johntown, Pa. Also known as the Benford Hotel. James past the Hotel onto his son Frank Albert Benford. His other son, James Walter Benford, my 2G Grandfather also lived at the hotel with his wife, Mary Cornelia Young-Benford and their 2 children; Anna Mae Benford and George Louis Benford. Anna Mae being my Great Grandmother. She and George both survived the 1889 flood.
