This is sad. I am originally from the west end. I went to elementary school in Chandler (2 years) and Beam (4 years), Garfield for Jr High (not middle as it is now), Johnstown High (downtown near the War Memorial before it was torn down) 1 year and Vo-Tech 2 years. This was the last school I attended that was still functioning as a school. Now all my schools are "gone".
