As a youngster I lived in Parkhill, and I went to high school in Franklin Borough. This bridge looks to me to be the one which formerly joined River Ave. in Franklin Borough and Maple Ave. in Woodvale. The mill buildings on the far side are the former Car Shop buildings, and the brick building in the center left is the former Car Shop office building located just inside of the Car Shop gate. I have a Franklin High School yearbook from 1955 which contains an aerial photograph of the Franklin Mills, and this bridge and the buildings behind can clearly be seen on it.
