Live Nativity - Greenhouse Park

A little slice of Bethlehem right here in the Alleghenies. Greenhouse Park was transformed beautifully I might add - into the little town of Bethlehem. Nine churches across Conemaugh Township joined forces to make this unique Christmas event happen. We went there early Saturday night and it was already packed with people. They really did a great job getting cars and people into and out of Greenhouse Park.
Since I was shooting video - I had my nephew shoot all the stills. He told me he wants his picture up front so that everyone knows an 11 year old can take good pictures.
The group of volunteers they have were just GREAT! From the villagers just walking around to the folks playing all the main characters.

Sorry for the quality of some of the videos I shot. I should have known better and brought along an extra light. But I am including them because all the folks did such a great job and to give you the reader - a feel for what was going on! Next year I shall try to get there during the day - makes for better pictures.

But before we go any further - we have to stop and pay our "taxes" which came in the form of can goods they are collecting for a local food bank along with monetary donations.

They had a nice set up for snacks and a bake sale.
Again, I'd just like to say what a great job that was done by all!
