Sales Manager Brownie Komara who was a heck of a nice guy. I knew him after he'd retired. He was also something of a local entertainer and emcee.

Some Color

Some color for a change. The cars are just coming off the Franklin Street Bridge with Pristow's and Troy Laundry on the right hand side along with U.S. Bank and Penn Furniture. 

At the Point

Looking at all the stuff now gone along Iron Street.

Ferguson Truck

One of the trucks belonging to the Ferguson Meat Packing Company located in Cambria City - they took over the old Germania Brewery building - it later became Morris Paper Company and is now where JAHA is.

This is taken in what is now a small parking lot next to Point Stadium. The buildings you see behind the truck are part of the old Rolling Mill Mines.

Checking the New Wheels

Got Gas

Another VJ repeat - this is the old gas station at the corner of Fairfield Avenue and Broad Street. After this one was torn down - a smaller one replaced it - until that one was torn down a few years ago. It's part of the Giant Eagle parking lot now.
