D Street and Fairfield Avenue - Morrellville

Vintage Repeat - The picture on the upper is D Street - but I'm not sure which part. On the other hand, the picture on the lower right is Fairfield Avenue. What's interesting is that the five window house is still there. Note - this is early - because the Morrellville Fire Station has yet to be built a couple of houses down from this site.

Franklin Street near Southmont Blvd

Vintage Repeat - This is at the bottom of Franklin Street - you can just see Memorial Hospital in the distance. For those of you lucky enough to be my relatives on my Sicilian side. This picture was taken in front of our cousins house.

Beech Spring War Memorial - Decker Avenue

The Beech Spring War Memorial was located at the intersection of Brush and Decker Avenue (Lower End). It was located on the grassy knoll on the left hand side going towards St. Therese's Church. I tried to zoom and crop the names - but they are unreadable. This photograph was sent in by reader Marge (Torchia) Stewart.
