Mayor Eddie McCloskey holding out for circus tickets School Boy Patrol members. Um....I see back in '34 they didn't allow girls - not right - I loved being a patrol member - keeping the belt as white as you could, the big silver badge and getting to use the flag...they should bring that back if you ask me - gives kids a sense of reasonability - if you ask me.

Mayor Holds Out for Tickets - May 5, 1934
Mayor Eddie McCloskey holding out for circus tickets School Boy Patrol members. Um....I see back in '34 they didn't allow girls - not right - I loved being a patrol member - keeping the belt as white as you could, the big silver badge and getting to use the flag...they should bring that back if you ask me - gives kids a sense of reasonability - if you ask me.

Yes, I remember being a proud member of the Bheam school patrol boys. Dont remember having any girl members at that time either. This was early 60s.
