Interesting picture. Would this been at the intersection of Laurel Avenue and the building directly at the end of the bridge be the parking lot in front of the old Davis Brake Beam?
This picture appears to be of the old Maple Ave. bridge looking from Woodvale into Franklin. The building at the left of the photo is what would have last been offices for Johnstown (Freight Car) America. This bridge would have been replaced in '59 by the new Maple Ave bridge. The railroad tracks in the foreground would be the PRR/C&BL interchange yard. The car shops are the buildings on the right.
