Home is not simply a mark upon a map
anymore than a river is just water.
It is the place at the center of the compass
from which every arrow radiates
where the heart is fixed.
It is a force that forever draws us back.
I got this from an episode of 'Call the Midwife' and even though it is set in England - the feelings behind those lines - can mean any place you call home.
This is my way of simply saying that there are indeed good people left in Johnstown who are doing their very best - to help fix a bad situation - but you don't hear much about them...

The saying so fits how I feel about my home town, each and every day of my life. Its hard to believe how the scum has infested a former perfect town.
How fitting the poem is for me. Its such a shame that scum has taken over the one time perfect town.
Would be nice to see some 2013 AAABA tournament coverage on your site...and, of course, historical AAABA stuff too!
