Oldham Wedding
From the look what I found file in my records that I didn't know I had - J. Hite Oldham and Miss Sara J. Turner - married at Crumb, Somerset County - August 1907 - this is the Hite and Sara - Mrs. Oldham is always talking about.
Yes, you are right. They were my great, great, aunt and uncle. They lived in Ferndale and had a son named Ardell. We used to visit them often when I was a kid. Their house always smelled like Bengay. Their hassock had toys in it for us. I think they had a grape arbor. We used to go to the back of their yard and then walk along the tracks looking for disgarded grinding wheels for my dad (Wm. A. Oldham) to use on his grinder. They had a big long frnt porch with rovking chairs on it.
