From the diary of Mrs. Elizabeth Oldham of Moxham
Thursday - December 11, 1947
I worked all day cleaning. I cleaned the bedroom and bath room this fore noon. Then I done the living room and cleaned the windows and kitchen.
We had a good dinner. We had rice and pototoes and carrots diced and onion cooked with beef. It sure hit the spot. There is some snow out but not much. I washed my hair this evening.
