Hi Lisa Larry Speicher-former Ferndale resident....Pristows Oldsmobile aka Pristows Motor Sales was never on Franklin St it was always on Jtwn Windber Rd across from Silver Drive in. They bought Oldsmobile franchise from McIlhaney Oldsmobile on Franklin St about 1/4 mi from Valley Pike / Franklin St intersection..towards Hickory St Bridge. Pristows took over the Oldsmobile franchise sometime after 1958 and retained until about 1970 when Jim Dewar bought Pristow Motor Sales. My dad & I bought my 68 Cutlass from Pristows, I still have the Cutlass 52 years later
Not sure who left the comment about Moskal. It was not me. I had left an explanation on the Oldsmobile Dealer Pristows Oldsmobile back in mid April 2020.
Sorry if I am reading this Moskal post I received an advisory today 5/11/20 the wrong way, but it appears from wording that was one posting the Moskal info. I did not but its enjoyable to read.
