Idlewild Park

It was a really beautiful place to have a lot of fun. As a child we had our church picnics at Idlewild park. We had so much fun. There were many attractions but my favorites were the huge swimming pool, the caterpillar ride, the music at the bandshell and the acrobatics performed on stage. We carried our picnic lunches and shared with others who joined us. Idlewild Park holds some of my greatest childhood memories!
