WJAC-AM used to broadcast on 1400Khz. When they moved to 850 on the AM dial, the 1400 license was acquired from the FCC by Ed Sherlock (KDKA personality), who re-launched the station as "WAMQ" classic hits. He later picked up a newly available FM slot that became Q-94. I worked at both stations back in the early 1980's.
