Here are two lots of old letters I bought - some of the names might sound familiar. There are around 100 or so letters - that I will posting once a week - on Sunday's - till they are all done. I will be including the envelopes are well because they are just as interesting. This series of letters run from 1906 up to the late 1920's.

My Dearest Anna-
Your letter received today and do not ever remember of
hearing or seeing father's name anything but Conrad Suppes. He had a brother
Theodore who was drowned. If uncle Charlie did not answer your letter. I am sure I didn't know to whom it is write as
all uncle George's family that I knew died. You could get facts by writing to
our cousin in Germany. You could get his address from Frank Schill. I positively do object to your publishing the
date of my birth and you know why. If you should do that it - certainly would
not add to the comfort of my home nor do you any good. I most certainly do not
object to anything you may say of you or yours but - I do what me and mine to
be left out of the whole darn thing. I do not object to being named as one of
Conrad Suppes children but go no further. If there is anything under heaven I
hate – it- is to be written or talked
about. If I were to die all I would consent to be published would be when and
where. Then forget everything concerning Mr. Good if be any other
well be had. I hope this letter will not
be too much of a disappointment for you but - this is exactly how I feel. I suppose John is with you tonight.
Love to all
as ever
Elizabeth (unreadable)
