Sunday, May 4, 1947

Cool and sort of nasty out the sun shines a little by spells.

I was at church up at the Park ave. U.E. church. Joan walked with me down home. 

Then after dinner George and Joan took Ida and I Leona & Nancy out to the country out to where our old cottage was.

Evrything is done except a few flowers and that nice tree is gone where dad (husband) and Hite got and planted in the yard. It make one feel bad to see how soon ervy thing was distroyed.

Saturday, May 3, 1947

I walked down to the drug store on Grove ave. and mailed a letter for Ida to Lane Bryant.

She sent for a dress and stopped at Mryrtles to see Mals Baby. 

Harry was here for Breakfast & Supper. He showed us some of the pictures he took out at the camp.

George and Helen and a nother lady as here to see them too. A lady from Pgh. Harry went to work from 12 till 8 to nite. Ida is not feeling so good.

I ironed and then put the attic curtains up. 

Ida was busy all day too.

We have so much fixing and replacing stuff. 

Harry was here for breakfast. and C

Thursday, May 1, 1947

I washed this fore noon and done some sewing. made curtains for the attic.

And burnt a lot of stuff off of the attic.

To day is Eddies birthday. He is 17 to day.

I cleaned the bed room Eddie helped me with the bed.

And Ida helped with the washing and fixing up stuff.

Harry come out from work and was here for supper.

Then he took Eddie with him down to Indiana to Marges home.
